1. International Leprosy Congress 2. NNN Conference 3. Members Meeting
Teams from across TLM will be present at the International Leprosy Congress (ILC) in Hyderabad (8-11 November).
The International Office is supporting these efforts by organising a presentation booth where attendees of ILC will be able to hear about the work of TLM.
Materials are currently being created to share through this booth. If you have areas of your work that you'd like to see shared with ILC attendees through the booth, please contact Tim Burton.
A number of TLM teams will be presenting their research at ILC and the International Office will endeavour to produce a guide to when TLM teams will be speaking (dependant on ILC organisers providing this information in advance).
The conference is taking place 13-15 September. TLM Nepal is the local host for the event and Clara Volpi is on the steering committee.
As well as the main session, there are several group sessions, including a specific session on leprosy, a skinNTD session that includes a presentation on wounds from Jannine Ebenso and the DMDI cross-cutting group.
TLM is very active in the Disease Management, Disability and Inclusion (DMDI) cross-cutting group (Jannine convenes the self-care and rehabilitation sub-group, while Mathias and Suresh convene the participation, inclusion and human rights sub-group). Jannine will be tweeting from the conference (@jannineTLM) and you can also follow @NTD_NGOs.
If you have any questions about the conference, please contact Clara Volpi.
The International Office is hosting TLM's first in-person Members Meetings for 3 years. In the last week of September, TLM Country Leaders, National Chairs, and the members of the Global Fellowship Board will be arriving for meetings in Lane End, near London.
We are very much looking forward to being able to meet again in-person and pray that all those invited will be able to access their visas well in advance of the meetings.
If you have any questions about the meetings, please contact Emma Bowring.
